Doubtful: Tenderness of the breastbone and thyroid nodules usually have nothing to do with each other. If you have tenderness to the breastbone, please see your doctor you may need an x-ray and definitely you need a physical exam to evaluate the problem. If you have thyroid nodules, you also need to see your doctor for the proper evaluation and treatment.
