A member asked:

Husband 56 told he has cll. few small lymph nodes underarm and in groin. feels really well - plays football 2x week and cycles everyday. prognosis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fair: Cll is usually an indolent disease. No treatment is usually required unless patients are locally symptomatic (from bulky lymph nodes) where radiation is very effective, or develop systemic problems (anemia, infection, bleeding) where chemotherapy is very effective.
