Goiter: It may be a goiter or enlarged thyroid gland. Some people that are hypothyroid or hyperthyroid will have multinodular goiter that can enlarge. You should follow up with your family physician so he can examine the swelling and determine if it is a goiter or something else. Goiter evaluation will require some lab and imaging and possibly biopsy.

See Doc: Could be a cyst or infection or a thyroid nodule. You need to be evaluated for a possible tumor also. In any event, with those symptoms, it is time to see the doc and get it checked out!
