A member asked:

Is vitamin b12 2500 mgs bad for you?

B-12: No, that dosage is perfectly fine. There has not been an upper limit set for oral vitamin b-12. Generally speaking if and individual has a vitamin b-12 deficiency confirmed by test , it is either given im or sc.

Not clear: Although B12 is water soluble, it is stored in the liver. 2500 mgs is thousands of times more B12 than is recommended daily in the absence of deficiency. Under number circumstances, the body loses only .1% of B12 daily and it takes 3-5 years to lose it all. No known benefits from such high dosages so save your money.
