After healing: And since everyone heals differently, no specific time frame can be given. Have your oral surgeon monitor your healing and have him/her advise you when they think it is ok to start again.

2 weeks: If there is no infection and gum or soft tissue heals with primary attachment, you could return to your physical activity in two weeks. Gum reattached in 14 days and crosslinks for strength in 28 days. That is when all the cells necessary for healing is in place and start to mature.

Depends: On average I would recommend 7 - 10 days to be sure. If socket is closed primarily (tissue fully covering extraction site and sutured) then 5 - 7. Good Luck. Always check with your surgeon.
