No: Peridex actually kills mouth bacteria unlike mouthwash which just washes some of the germs away. If your dentist has given you a prescription for Peridex, be sure to have it filled and use it as directed. The success of the bone graft may depend on it.

No: If there was, our Dentist would have told you to use it. Please fill your Peridex prescription and use it as directed. Pride kills bacteria. OTC mouthwashes do not. Penicillin kills bacteria. OTC pills do not. For successful treatment, follow your Dentist's instructions to the letter.
