Yes and no: The laptop computer itself does not cause red eyes, but staring at the computer for long periods of time allows the eyes to dry out, which can produce redness. Using artificial tears and/or taking frequent rest periods thought the duration of continued computer work can be helpful. See your eye doctor for other strategies which may be helpful.
