See Allergist...: 56 y/o says I quit smoking 2 months ago. I have had to give up wearing makeup and using moisturize on my face because I will break out, my eyes will be bloodshot. Sounds like Allergy to one or more of the ingredients in the make up. Also history of smoking may have destabilized the normal sequence of skin repair . Best to see Allergist for evaluation and management at this point.
