Great care in the su: Heat stroke can be a life threatening event, but with caution, being out of doors need not be avoided. Many medications reduce sweating. Medication for motion sickness like scopolamine or Meclizine are among these. The use of a parasol or tarp can greatly reduce heat stress, and most importantly, several quarts of fluid a day when it is hot, as many as four quarts may be required.
