Heat stroke: Heat stroke would be defined as fever of 105.8 and altered mental status. Heat exhaustion is defined as mildly elevated BP associated with headache, fatigue and often muscle weakness. Heat stroke is a medical emergency and requires evaluation in an ER. Heat exhaustion is treated by getting out of the heat and push fluids. Keep eye on urine output as rhabdomyolysis can develop.
