A member asked:

My doctor says my white blood test are good, what does that mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Prob. normal range: White blood cells are present in the bloodstream to help fight infections. Very high or very low levels can be due to infections or sometimes cancers, depending on what your doctor is looking for. A normal result usually means the numbers of white blood cells are neither too high nor too low.
