All my blood results came back normal except my alt which was a 48. slightly over the 46 range and my ch50 says greater than 60. what does that mean? doctor ran this test based of family history?

ch50 is not a standard test or at least abbreviation. Never us abbreviations in Medicine as they can be deadly.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your ALT is minimally elevated and not a cause for concern. CH50 not commonly used by labs anymore. Wish you good health!
