See below: It shouldn't. The WBC count was probably already on the way up when the antibiotics were given. However, a high fever can cause the WBC count to temporarily rise in a process called demargination. Steroids given at the same time with antibiotics might raise the count too. Also, if the antibiotic that was given was not appropriate and the infection continued, that could lead to a raised count.
