Runners Tip: This is a much debated question, since the technique varies from runner to runner. In most studies of sprint runners, running at high speed usually occurs once the weight is shifted forward on the forefoot or toes, which we see in most animals. Heel strike is more characteristic of slower run speeds and long distance runners, and walking. You can experiment with good sneakers on a good surface.

The comfortable way: I think there is no one way that is correct way as, feet, lower limb alignment is different in different people. The best advice would be to run in a way that feels the most comfortable.
