Yes: Fibroids can cause pain, especially as they grow. They can also cause bleeding and cramping.

Yes: Most fibroids do not cause any symptoms. However, as they grow they can be responsible for increased bleeding and pain. Pain may be only during menses or all the time or only with activities such as sex.
