Abcess: Upper or lower tooth? Fatigue, fever are two early and easy symptoms for you to notice. Is the abcess draining? Please see your dentist or md for treatment.

Infection: Untreated tooth abscesses could cause infection to spread to the jaw bone, or to head, neck and chest area causing ludwig's angina which could be fatal. It could also cause sepsis which is caused by chemicals released by your body to fight the infection causing inflammation throughout your body. Sepsis could also be fatal. Have your dentist take care of the abscessed tooth.
