No: The vast majority of MRSA strains are resistant to cipro (ciprofloxacin). Mrsa if sensitive frequently develop resistance to Cipro (ciprofloxacin) during treatment. Oral septra/bactrim, doxycycline/minocycline or Clindamycin are much better choices.
