Not a good choice: Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is not a good choice for chlamydia. The cdc 2010 treatment guidelines are a great resource and you can direct your doctor there to help select the correct medication for you. Zithromax and Doxycycline are the two most common choices. There are a few others listed as available options.
