Tongue Tissue Tags: Tissue tags are common on the tongue. Scalloping of the border of the tongue often matches the grooves between the teeth. Unless there is trauma during chewing, no treatment is needed. But if this is a problem a dds may be able to smooth sharp teeth or an oral surgeon sometimes needs to be consulted.

Let them be or: Have them surgically removed. This would need to be seen to give you more accurate guidance. It depends upon the size, location and whether or not its normal anatomy or some deviation or growth.
