No: Tagamet (cimetidine) is an OTC antacid, some benefit in studies, low potential for side effects. It is probably not going to work alone, but not going to cause problems either. In my experience plantar warts on the bottom of the foot only respond to cantharidin

Is cimetidine safe for a six year old to treat many many warts on bottom of foot and many on hand? Her dermatologist prescribed. I asked her pediatrician and he said ok if I do and ok if I dont. Its twice a day for two months. Just concerned?
