20 year old daughter with painful plantar wart which has been resistant to normal otc treatments. read that tagamet (cimetidine) may help. any harm in trying?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Tagamet (cimetidine) is an OTC antacid, some benefit in studies, low potential for side effects. It is probably not going to work alone, but not going to cause problems either. In my experience plantar warts on the bottom of the foot only respond to cantharidin
