Maybe: Sudden jerking and biting of the tongue can be from an underlying or untreated seizure condition. "Jerk": I assume you are experiencing spasmodic movements. There are many different causes, and treatment will depend on diagnosing the cause. Ask your General Physician to refer you to a Neurologist for examination and evaluation.
