A member asked:

Can vitamin k depletion cause low platelets?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Low vitamin k can cause your body to have a difficult time making factors that are important for blood coagulation (factors 2, 7, 9, 10) and can lead to increased bleeding. Platelet numbers, however, should not be affected.
