Was deficient in some vitamins due to malnutrition. also have low platelet counts (as low as 80,000). can the malnutrition affect my platelet count?

Yes : Malnutrition can effect all your systems. Maintain a good diet and get checked by your physician periodically to ensure full recovery. Platelet count of 80,000 is relatively low but not worrisome if it keeps improving
