Yes: Peanut allergy can manifest itself as hives (urticaria) commonly. Hives look and feel like mosquito bites--they are raised, red, itchy, round to oval and can be of various sizes, scattered on the body. Hives usually wax and wane and the skin appears normal after they resolve. If the rash occurred after eating peanut, see an allergist for confirmation and a treatment plan.
