A member asked:

Can antihistamines cause hyperthyroidism?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No.: But if they are combined with a decongestant (such as pseudoephedrine/sudafed) then the decongestant can cause some symptoms which can also occur with hyperthyroidism, including shakiness, fast pulse, feeling "wired", or anxious.
