Many: Erection is neuro, -sycho -endocrine and vascular event . If there is any disruption in one of them you can have erection problem. By far diabetes is the cause if erection problem. Diabetes damaged either the blood vessel , the nerve or both that supplies the penis . Any disruption if the nerve that supply the penis due to spinal cord injury , surgery etc will also result in the same. Depression
