Food poisoning?: Depending on whether the chicken was clean, only partially cooked, or left out for awhile after cooking, salmonella food poisoning may be possible. This could cause abdominal cramping and dysentery. Incubation is a few hours to 2 days. Symptoms usually last 4-7 days, but can be more serious in developing countries. Rehydration is the usual focus of treatment -- see doctor if symptoms are severe.
