Various explanations: Chronic right sided chest pain in fortyish female suspect for tziet's syndrome, also called costochondritis; inflammation of junction where rib joins cartilage, next to sternum. Diagnosis easily made by direct palpation of pain loci, arousing exquisite pain causing patient reflexive withdrawal from palpating fingertip. A single cortisone injection can dramatically resolve. Cause is querisome.
