Sometime: Once fracture completely healed usually lucent residual line except for some instances. Some times with separated fracture fragments fibrous or muscular tissue gets caught in area of union and can have this appearance.The bone heals around this area of soft tissue. However sometimes line across bone will not heal as nonunion or pseudarthrosis, needing further intervention, usually surgical
