No unhappiness hormo: There are no hormones we know if that have a major effect on happiness or unhappiness. In a few cases severe hormone deficiencies (especially of cortisol and thyroid) can cause depressed mood and replacement treatment can improve mood but there are always other signs of those problems, including new onset of severe fatigue.
