Talk to your doc: There are variety of reasons why a mother can't successfully breastfeed. Having post-partum depression doesn't help. Get help: talk to your doctor about how you are feeling; lactation consultants can help troubleshoot breastfeeding problems. Whatever the outcome with breastfeeding, remember this: not being able to nurse at breast doesn't make you a bad mother or that you've failed your baby.
