Fear: With my patients that are fearful I am always sure to tell, show, do. I tell them what I am going to do and what they can expect, show them what I am going to do and then do it many times with them looking on in a mirror. Each time they come in we do the tsd and by the 4th or 5th visit the fear is gone or reduced to a minor issue. Find a dentist that uses tsd.

Sedation Dentistry: There are dentists that are available to treat patients that have a high fear through sedation dentistry. Oral sedation or IV sedation are common ways to help with the fear.
