See your MD: Family history of breast cancer is an important part of any patient's history and may impact significantly on your physician's evaluation of your individual risk.. The majority of cases of breast cancer are not associated with a + family history. You should have regular breast exams (at least yearly), perform breast self exams monthly, and mammograms beginning at age 40 or earlier. See yr m.

Fungal infection & C: There is no association between topical fungal infections seen in the moist intertrigenous areas & under the breasts & cancer. Certainly this may be uncomfortable & could be treated with good hygene, keeping the area as dry as possible & using a topical antifungal powder (look in the jock itch products). If you have a family history of breast ca, you should discuss w/your doctor genetic testing!
