Talk to Doctor: Many antifungal medications and steroids are safe to take during pregnancy. To be absolutely sure you should consult your doctor who can cross reference a recent database of medications and the breastfeeding safety classification; ringworm on the scalp or tinea capitis generally does not improve with topical antifungals alone; an oral medication is the best shot at complete resolution.
