C.Difficile: When treated with one or both recommended antibiotics for 10 days, recovery is 75%. Up to 25% experience a relapse, but infection usually responds to a second course of the same meds. F/up testing for toxin is not recommended. Your daughter is 12 yr old, if she doesn't have issues of recurrent environmental exposure, immune issues, not on many antibiotics; needs evaluation by GI for other cause.
