Depression: Dear rudi, i don't recommend use of medication alone. Have you considered treatment such as cognitive behavioral therapy? It can be very effective. If you are not ready to consider counseling, there is an old but excellent book called the 'feeling good book' by david burns. I know the title is geeky but the book is helpful. St. John's wort is an herbal remedy that can be used for the depression.
