LIfestyle: Make lifestyle changes first and then you can assess whether or not you need medication. Eat a plant based diet, exercise aerobically 4 to 6 times a week in your target zone( a little breathy), get enough sleep, limit alcohol and other drugs and focus on maintaining healthy relationships.
