Yes: Paxil may raise the blood level of your atenolol, but your atenolol dose is low enough that this should not be a problem. With the Paxil watch out for sexual difficulties and weight gain. If either one happens have your doctor switch you to pexeva, paroxetine mesylate. It is a branded generic that does not often cause weight gain and far less frequently causes sexual side effects.
