Different: Rectosigmoid colon is phrase referring to both portions of colon together. Rectosigmoid junction is point where rectum joins sigmoid colon.

Terminology: The junction is the area where the colon and the rectum meet and the recto-sigmoid colon is basically that small part of the colon above it.
