A member asked:

If my hcg is 138 is it true that fertilization probably took place 2 weeks ago or less?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

More or less: There is considerable variability in the HCG levels in normal pregnancies and a given HCG is not a useful indicator of the length of gestation. See this site for more info. http://americanpregnancy.org/duringpregnancy/hcglevels.html.
