A member asked:

Is bicep damage done only when lifting heavy weights, or it can be also done by lifting light weights but doing many reps very fast?

Depends: Muscle breakdown can occur with both. But an acute bicep rupture or tear is usually lifting too much. The chronic over use usually affect the tendons ligaments and their attachments to the bones.
