Get a GI opinion: See a gastroenterologist and make sure that you take the films with you. Gastroenterologist should be able to tell you whether it needs to be further pursued. I would not wait long to get this done. Put it on your to do soon list. Best wishes to you.

My wife was just: Discharged with this today, but she started with abdominal pain, fever, mild white count ct showing right sided colon thickening. In my day it was an exploratory lap, tehy went for colonoscopy on day 2, biopsies, no clear mass or obstruction, then antibiotics. Temporizing with repeat ct still leaves the quandry as to cause. Diverticualr disease may be a benign cause. Wife had nl scope 2 yrs ago.
