What will happen at a gynecologist appointment?

First GYN Exam: Your first GYN visit should start w/ a medical history where you go into detail about your pregnancies and sexual history. Your GYN will likely perform a full physical, including breast and pelvic exam where he/she will feel for your uterus and ovaries to ensure there are no abnormalities. A speculum exam with Pap will then look for cancer/infections. Make sure you talk about birth control!
