Varies: Dental braces, or orthodontics, to reposition teeth can be performed in ways that were unavailable years ago. Depending on the extent of tooth movement needed, you may require only a simple removable appliance that doesn't have brackets or wires at all! however, even if conventional orthodontics is recommended, treatment is very tolerable. You'll be sore for a couple days, but adapt very well.
