Depends on type:: If you get your prescriptions at a local retail pharmacy and not by mail order, the prescriptions can be transferred almost immediately. The new pharmacy can request a copy or the old pharmacy can send it to the pharmacy you wish to use. Getting mail-order ones transferred may be different,. Ask the pharmacy you have been using this question and confirm that it has been done with the new one
