Protein: I'm sure you know to add protein with lean meats and fish. However here are a couple tricks that work. Boil eggs, a dozen a time and keep them in the fridge as snacks. Peanuts are an easy, high protein snack too. Protein shakes (whey is best) work great, but just mix the powder with water, don't get to fancy. If is a chore to make it, you wont. Happy lifting! **.
