A few days: You need to have a soft diet until you are healed enough to eat regular foods. Every peron and every extractiojn is different so this will vary for everyone. So listen to you mouth and eat what is comfortable for you. Just do not over do it.

Soon: Most people can eat a regular but soft diet within 1-2 days after surgery. Regular food may take a little longer depending upon the degree of difficulty of the surgery, skill of your surgeon, how much post operative pain and swelling you experience and what you call regular food.
