Do doctors know of eye drops for redness that are safe for use with contacts?

No: "get the red out" eye drops for occasional use, but not with contacts in. Instead use rewetting drops designed for use with contact lenses. They are available in most pharmacies.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
