Gallbladder: The gallbladder is a back up storage facility for bile. Removal of the gallbladder when it is diseased is recommended, as it can cause serious health problems. Bile is essential for life and made by the liver. Alcohol is a toxic to your life, with little connection to your gallbladder. Don't use alcohol in recovery from surgery or in excess. Be well.
