Work out: It depends on the type of work out. Generally it is recommended that people of all ages do some strenuous activity for 30-60 minutes 5-7 days a week. Make sure that you let your body recover ad don't go over board either. If you aren't working out at all right now aim for 3 days a week, 30-60 minutes per work out.
